Atypical presentation of opsoclonus-myoclonus-ataxia syndrome in a newborn: a case report

چکیده

Case presentation: This is a newborn patient, male. Vaginal delivery with no complications, preterm birth. The initial physical examination of the (NB) identified hard and painful mass in left flank. patient was transferred to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for extended workup monitoring. In first neurological examination, opsoclonus, myoclonus ataxia limbs trunk were identified. During hospitalization, NB developed systemic arterial hypertension. Magnetic Resonance (MRI) an expansive formation upper middle thirds kidney. underwent total nephrectomy being followed up by pediatric neonatology, neurology oncology outpatients clinics.
